Loot rarity and special-item chances

Each lootable page lists which items it can contain and their rough rarity: Common / Uncommon / Rare / Very Rare. Item pages list the containers and places where you can find them.

Rarity labels

These wiki labels describe your chance of finding an item when loot is generated:

Label Meaning per fresh loot generation
Common At least one in five
Uncommon At least one in twenty, but less than one in five
Rare At least one in a hundred, but less than one in twenty
Very Rare Less than one in a hundred

The rating is specific to the lootable, not a statement about an item's overall availability, power, shop rarity, or exclusivity. A bunker-exclusive weapon can be Common inside bunker weapon crates while still being restricted to that location. Labels use ordinary server settings and exclude conditional assistance and guarantees.

Where exact percentages are shown

Drop chances for keys, keycards and bunker-exclusive firearms:

  • Bunker Keycard
  • Hunting Store Key
  • Military Base Keycard
  • Gun Store Keycard
  • Police Station Keycard
  • AUG, VSS, and S&W

See special-item chances. These percentages mean the probability of finding at least one copy in a fresh, untouched generation, including applicable extra gear/key rolls. They are not the chance that a previously searched container still holds an item. Reopening a container does not grant a new roll; other players may remove or deposit contents.

Assistance and bunker rules

Pistol assistance can improve a qualifying survivor's basic-pistol odds across eligible fresh searches, eventually guaranteeing a basic pistol. It applies to Makarov, G17, M9 Pistol, and M1911. Acquiring a qualifying pistol ends assistance for that life; dropping it does not restart it. Ordinary rarity labels are not recalculated for that player-specific state.

The bunker tracks qualifying misses during its cycle. After two misses, a qualifying weapon crate that naturally lacks AUG, VSS, and S&W replaces its first generated item, or adds an item if empty, with one of those three weapons. Exclusive-weapon pages show both the normal chance and the conditional result including this guarantee. Rechecking the same processed crate does not trigger it again.

Scope

Loot depends on server settings and whether other players have already searched a container. Keycard and faction restrictions still apply.

Special-item percentages are rounded for display.
